Why some brokers show as error

Common reasons a broker shows as error and what we do about it.

Common causes

  • The broker site is temporarily down.
  • The broker changed its page structure and our adapter is being updated.
  • Anti-bot protection blocked the scan attempt.
  • Rate limiting because the broker received too many requests in a short window.

What we do automatically

Errored brokers are retried automatically during the next scan cycle. If a broker stays in error for more than 48 hours, our engineering team is alerted and we push an adapter fix.
